Lattice House 4 Bedroom Villa Punta Achiote

Lattice House is a special vacation rental, conveniently located just off the Costenera on a 55 acre private reserve between Dominical and Uvita. The award-winning Bali modern tropical home is a delight to the senses, with spectacular ocean views from every room, peaceful spaces, extensive decks, custom furnishings and fixtures imported from Bali, a total partially covered infinity pool, and all the amenities you would expect in a luxury home. It is very private and surrounded by jungle; you can view the abundant wildlife, monkeys and birds from the decks of the house.

Main Description

The 55 acre reserve is shared with one other house (neither can see the other). The reserve consists of jungle with trails to large and small waterfalls, park-like spaces, orchards and is teeming with wildlife: small animals, white-face and howler monkeys, and birds of every kind. The reserve is your private paradise. The reserve is gated with full-time security.

The house is an architectural dream, designed in Costa Rica and Bali, with beautiful hardwoods, stone, marble, copper and stainless throughout. The bathrooms all have walk-in showers and the master has an outdoor shower and copper tub for two with a view of the jungle. The house is exceptionally well outfitted for cooking and entertaining. There is a large gas grill and outdoor dining.

The pool set in the living area deck is a total infinity pool with tiles from Bali that reflect the sky exactly like the water, giving the infinity illusion at all times. It is partially covered with a built in jacuzzi. This is where you will spend most of your time, day and night, rain or shine!

Further Information

Our area, south of Quepos has all the amenities and
activities of the areas farther north, but without the touristy crowds. Lattice
House is situated between two activity centers: Dominical and Uvita. Dominical
is a surfers' paradise with great gift shops and restaurants. Slightly beyond
are Hacienda Baru Reserve with its fabulous jungle and canopy tours, zip line,
butterfly garden and beach. Don Lulo's horseback tour to the triple decker
waterfall is not to be missed. Uvita is the beginning of the Marina Ballena
national Park from which you can snorkel, take kayak, boat, and whale-watching
tours, walk out to the Whale's Tail at low tide. You can charter boats for in
shore or off shore fishing, and are almost always guaranteed a great catch. The
beaches, starting with Playa Hermosa right below the house are beautiful,
diverse, and usually almost private. There are great swimming beaches, surfing
beaches, quiet coves, beaches with caves for miles down the coast. If you are a
diver or snorkeler, don't miss the day trip to Cano Island, some of the best
diving in the world. And from Lattice House, Manuel Antonio is an easy day
trip--visit, then come back south to a peaceful paradise.
